field of Audiology and Speech – Language Pathology. He is specialized in the field of Hearing Implants. He
is one of the
founder members of Cochlear Implant Group of India and HEARRING (Comprehensive Hearing Implant Centres)
for research and

Asia to perform Auditory Brainstem Implant to restore hearing in children with absent inner ear and
auditory nerve.
Introduced the first formal Training for Auditory Habilitationist in India. Community Service: Involved in
Community
services to create awareness on Hearing Restoration. Established network of rehabilitation centres across
the state of
Tamil Nadu to facilitate rehabilitation after hearing restoration for underprivileged children. The
services are
extended in the name of PROJECT CHITHRA.
